Tired of the Hurt Feelings and Whining
by Red Piller inhello, i must say, and i'm sorry if i sound callous.
but, i'm tired of people claming they were "so" mistreated here.. i have found folks here like anywhere else.
occasionally you can disagree, but for the most part, good people.. also, everyone here has been part or is part of a congregation.

Toyota and Southwest Airlines are placing ads here
by Red Piller ini've been lurking for a while.
i used to see ads from companies that sold niche products.
to see these common consumer names says (to me) that the traffic here is picking up to a point where big corporations take notice.. maybe a groundswell building in the wt?.

Born Ins vs Converts
by Red Piller infirst of all, let me say that i do think this excuse of a religion is on a downward spiral, which will only accelerate.. as a born in, i always read comments here about how dedicated and hard-line we are.
most of the born ins (who stayed) develop a casual attitude toward everything.
even if you believe it, hearing about armageddon, constantly, doesn't excite you as much when it's the 1,000th time you've heard it.

An Ode to the 2 Apostates Who Tried
by Red Piller inmany years ago 2 guys visited our kh on meeting night.they were from some "anti-cult" group.
can't remember the name exactly.
everyone ignored them after talking with them for more than 2 seconds and realizing their purpose.. not me, i really wanted to debate them.

February 2011 KM - no more daily text before service
by Red Piller inheard this today from a good source.
my guess everybody is delaying leaving the service meeting - and this is an attempt to fix this.. that's what i see in our service groups - no one is in any rush to go out (again).
